NW Sector Mission To PLMA, Amsterdam April 28, 2009

UKTI’s North West International Trade Team together with the North West Regional Development Agency invite North West companies to participate in a mission to World of Private Label ® at the RAI Exhibition Center, Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Organised by the Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA) World of Private Label® is, for many visitors, the most important international tradeshow of the year, as well as an opportunity for manufacturers and retailers to meet and work together. Devoted entirely to private label, World of Private Label® covers all major products including:

  • Fresh, frozen and refrigerated foods
  • Dry Groceries
  • Snacks and Beverages
  • Exhibitors from over 70 countries are expected in 2009 • There will be over 3000 exhibit stands spanning 11 halls, as well as 30 national and regional pavilions promoting their products, region and country
  • Buyers from all over the globe attending World of Private Label® will include representatives from hypermarkets, supermarkets wholesalers, importers and exporters

What We Can Offer

  • The opportunity to attend the show, with the offer of an NWDA sector grant of £200 per company for eligible North West companies.
  • Free access to the exhibition on completion of the attached visitors form with a business card
  • The opportunity to request a 1:2:1 meeting with a representative from The British Embassy in The Hague
  • Access to an accompanying experienced UKTI International Trade Adviser throughout the show

The market visit is also supported by the Enterprise Europe Network, which offers support and advice to businesses across Europe and helps them make the most of the opportunities in the European Union.
