Female Entrepreneur: An inclusive service to women in business

Wednesday 1 April, 2009, 9.30am-2.30pm
DeVere Whites, Bolton,

Bolton Business Ventures, in association with the North West Development Agency would like to invite female entrepreneurs to their upcoming event:

I am very pleased to invite you to this Women’s Enterprise Masterclass which has been organised to help raise awareness of the barriers and challenges facing female entrepreneurs and to help identify examples of best practice in the Northwest.

The objective of the Masterclass is to engage local authorities, regional policy stakeholders and business support providers in a discussion about the ways in which more women can be encouraged to set up their own businesses.

In the autumn of 2008 the Northwest Women’s Enterprise Forum (NWWEF) published its Womens Enterprise Action Plan. This document aims to help local and regional partners to work together to ensure that women’s enterprise is integral to core activities such as business support, enterprise education and skills development. It also encourages partnership working across the public, private and voluntary sectors and within and between the regional women’s business networks and associations.

The Womens Enterprise Action Plan and the executive summary can be downloaded by clicking here

The attendees for this event have been carefully selected for their experience and interest in this important issue. I very much hope that you will be able to join us in what will prove to be a lively and topical debate.

If you would like to book a place at the event then email your request to Tina Chester at womensenterprisemasterclass@nwda.co.uk.

As we have limited places, please can you let us know as soon as possible about your intentions to attend.
