Software Protection after Symbian and Bilski

Kirwans Solicitors are proud to announce they are hosting an Intellectual Property Seminar in conjunction with NIPC Training.  The subject is the developments in patentability for software and computer programs following the decisions in Symbian and Bilski.

This is an important topic for just about everybody in British business following possibly the most important intellectual property decisions of the last 12 months in the English and US Courts.  This seminar is designed specifically for patent and trade mark attorneys and lawyers specialising in intellectual property and technology law.

Speakers

Speakers will include Jane Lambert, Head Barrister and Founder of the Northern Intellectual Property Chambers; Robin Bartle a Chartered Patent Attorney from W.P Thompson & Co, as well as representatives of the UK Intellectual Property Office, the NCC Group and Kirwans.

There will be networking opportunities before and after the seminar, and light refreshments will be served.
