Introduction to the North West Business Network, the London Business Network and CompeteFor

The Northwest Business Network in collaboration with The Mersey Partnership and the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce would like to invite you to a free seminar and workshop to learn about how your business can get involved in the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and other public sector procurement opportunities.

London 2012 expects to have around 7,000 direct contracts which, together with its suppliers, will form supply chains of around 75,000 opportunities. The opportunities will be in sectors ranging from construction, engineering and manufacturing to creative, merchandising and retail.

CompeteFor is the chosen site of London 2012 for the publication of London 2012 related contract opportunities. It acts as a brokerage service between buyers throughout the London 2012 supply chain, and potential suppliers. Businesses of any size can use the CompeteFor brokerage service as a buyer or supplier of London 2012 goods and services.

This event is aimed at all private sector businesses in the Merseyside region and will be an introduction to the Northwest Business Network and CompeteFor. The event will give valuable information on how your company can compete for London 2012 business opportunities and other public sector contracts.

We’re registered for the Warrington seminar in April but I note via your link to the 2012 site that this seminar in June at the Racquet Club is not on their list for registration.
