Nigerian Letter Fraud February 26, 2008

The Chamber’s business Crime Direct Team advises that these letters change frequently but they all want the same information; Name, address, telephone number, company name & address.

Anyone receiving these or any other West African scams should forward then on to the Fraud Squad. Anyone receiving these types of letters should visit www.merseyside.police.uk

Their page on preventing personal fraud contains advice on the Nigerian Letter scam.

There is also crime prevention advice about all manner crime including frauds and business fraud.
