The first point of contact your customer will probably have with your organisation is the receptionist. This member of staff has the ultimate responsibility of creating the right impression of your business. After all, you never get a second chance to make a first impression and this may well affect any future trading relationship you hope to have with a customer.

This course will enable your receptionist to handle more professionally and with increased confidence, customers, internal staff, enquiries and complaints.

It is suitable for anyone who is responsible for making contact with customers either face to face or on the telephone.

The one day course takes place on 19th November at the One Old Hall Street.  For further information contact Alma Meyers on 0151 224 1883 or email alma.mayers@liverpoolchamber.org.uk

Member cost: £169.20

Non-member cost: £188.00

If you are a Merseyside-based SME, you could be eligible for SkillWorks funding (60% subsidy) towards the cost of our courses.

SkillWorks has been one of the most successful programmes and as a result a further 15 million of ESF funding has been committed to extend the scheme until 31st July 2008. Funding is available from May 2007 to be allocated throughout Merseyside companies.

Every eligible business in Merseyside can benefit from a maximum of 60,000 towards specific training you need to meet your business objectives.

Visit the Mersey Skills Network site to find out more about the offer.
