Chamber Goes From Strength To Strength Online August 8, 2007

Posted by liverpoolchamber in Chamber Services, News, World Wide Web.

Liverpool Chamber continues to grow and improve its online presence, helping us become better able to serve our members.

Liverpool Chamber’s main website continues to attract more and more visitors.

July saw a total of 52,052 visits, with over 107,500 page views. This was an increase in visits of 14% on June, and more than three times the number of visits in July 2006. One of the most popular areas is always the members’ directory, a real boost to members in raising their online presence.

The online events booking and membership services also continue to prove attractive to new, renewing and existing members. July saw a more than 40% increase in their use. You can book onto an event here, or if you’re not already a member, join up here.

This blog also continues to grow in popularity. It received over 4,000 views, up more than 20% on June.

Our popular free weekly e-newsletter now goes out to over 7,000 individual email addresses. It’s packed full of news, offers and member profiles. You can sign up here, or if you’d like to be featured in it, just email Pam in marketing.

Our Flickr photos are coming up to 3,000 views too, and are a popular link from the blog. Plus, we’ve recently set up a Facebook page (just search for ‘Liverpool Chamber if you want to be our friend!), and are now posting some of our events on popular listings site Upcoming.

Liverpool Chamber is currently looking to further improve its main website. This will hopefully mean we update and add new content more often and make it more useful to our members. Suggestions for new content for the site are always welcome. We’ll keep you posted on how the project progresses.

Watch out Google!!!

We wish!
