Liverpool Chamber is hosting a trade mission is designed to support SMEs in Merseyside wanting to expand their activity in the Hungarian Market between 5-9th November

Elena Enciso, International Trade Executive explained:” The reputation of British companies is high in Hungary and the country offers opportunities in most sectors including: Airport development, Automotive, Construction, Electronics, Healthcare, Railways, Security, Sport and Leisure and Water.”

Liverpool Chamber’s experienced International Trade Executives are on hand to provide help and support throughout the market visit, to assist all delegates.

Elena continued: “Whilst in Budapest there will be an in-country briefing, where you will be presented with a market overview and tips on how to conduct business. Thereafter, you will be free to attend meetings with your potential clients identified through research or by yourself. As the same time of this Market Visit the Okotech Trade Fair will take place in Budapest and we encourage companies in this sector to attend.”

Since EU accession Hungary needs to comply with EU legislation on the environment. Until 2015 some HUF 222 bn (£600 million) will be spent on drinking water quality improvements and an estimated further HUF 600 bn (£1.65 bn) is required to meet EU waste water regulations.

Okotech-International Trade Fair for Environmental Protection & Municipal Technology has always been a truly unique event in the field of environmental protection and communal services.

This is an excellent opportunity for Merseyside businesses. Having successfully secured European Funding, Liverpool Chamber is now able to offer you a chance to participate in this trade mission at a more affordable price. Eligible companies will receive subsidy of 50% towards expenses, maximum eligible expenditures of £1000, covering flight travel, accommodation, in-country travel, interpreter costs, in-market telephone calls and certain market research.

Liverpool Chamber are presently negotiating attractive rates for flights and hotels. To book or for further information email elena.enciso@liverpoolchamber.org.uk or call Elena on 0151 227 1234 Ext: 2212.
