LiverpoolChamber of Commerce in association with The Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills would like to invite you attend The Skills Pledge – MAKE the UK a world leader in skills by 2020.

This special event gives you an opportunity to hear what making the Skills Pledge can do for your company, with a key note speech from David Lammy, Minister for Skills at the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills.

As well as hearing first hand about the new and emerging national skills policies you will also hear how these fit with the economic priorities of the North West.

Key themes to be covered:

  • Skills Pledge with a particular focus on the take up of training and development.
  • Skills Polices concentrating on employers.
  • New and emerging government skills policies.
  • Train to Gain – how this can help your business.

  • Key to this event is an extensive feedback session where you, as a member of the local Business Community will be able to ask questions about the skills challenge and feedback your thoughts to those who can make a real difference.

MAKE the Skills Pledge and MAKE the skills of your people your key business asset….
