The Great Summer Treasure Hunt
Liverpool Chamber of Commerce is working with the Culture Company on the Around the City in 80 pubs project celebrating the city’s superb pub heritage. The project will bring sea shanty performers, singers, comedians and poets into pubs throughout the summer. In the autumn, CAMRA will showcase Liverpool real ale watering hole and pubs with character.
The Chamber is asking for expressions of interest in a series of treasure hunts, perhaps even a league table, from teams of up to four members. Local businesses may wish to sponsor the events and enter teams (after all it’s team building!).
Peter Jones, head of the Chamber’s Business Crime Direct team, and a man who knows a few city pubs, said, “More than anything, we would like the help of experienced treasure hunters and quizmasters to help us put together clues for a number of trails covering all the best pubs in the city centre. If the interest is there, we see the events going on throughout June, July and August.”
Anyone interested should contact Peter Jones at Liverpool Chamber on 0151 227 1234
