Pandemic Influenza - Are You Prepared? March 10, 2008

We have been requested by our partners Health Protection Agency Northwest and Dept of Business at John Moores University to encourage our contacts to fill out the survey detailed below. The survey relates to a pandemic influenza project and how such a disruptive pandemic would effect your business.

The survey is very short and very simple. Please pass on to your business contacts for their attention, should they wish to contribute.

If you are a multi- occupancy establishment please pass on to your residents for their attention.

Please download the document and save to a folder. Fill it out then return to Laura Hall at JMU -L.E.Hall@2005.ljmu.ac.uk within the next two weeks. All responses will be treated with complete confidentiality and participants will remain anonymous. Information will be published on an aggregated basis only.

On receipt of your response you will receive a set of web addresses carrying key government advice and the final report will be made available to all participants. Negative responses are as welcome as positive so please do not hesitate to respond even if you have little previous knowledge of this issue.

Ormond Street Closure Notice March 10, 2008

Some travel / parking news for those based in the business district:

Ormond Street will be closed at its junction with Bixteth Street from Monday 10th March for 3 days to enable Enterprise Liverpool to undertake reinstatement works to the carriageway and footway. There will be a signposted diversion in place for users of the Albany car park.
